MY MISSION

My name is Cody, and at EmpowerU, my mission is to help young people build confidence, fitness, and resilience through sports and boxing.I deliver fun, safe, and skill-focused sessions in schools and community spaces, including PE cover, after-school clubs, lunchtime clubs, and sports coaching. Whether in the boxing gym or on the playground, we aim to empower every child to feel strong, capable, and ready to take on life’s challenges.Part of my goal is to play a positive 'father-figure' role and get people ahead of life through physical activity.

PE/PPA Cover

I deliver engaging, high-quality PE lessons during curriculum time to help raise the standard of physical education in schools. My aim is to ensure every child gets more out of their PE sessions — building confidence, developing physical skills, and discovering the joy of movement.I bring energy and passion to every lesson, focusing not just on “ticking the box,” but on helping young people grow both physically and mentally.

Lunchtime/Afterschool Clubs

Lunchtime Clubs
Lunchtimes are the perfect chance for children to recharge, get active, and connect with others. Instead of sitting down all day, pupils can let off steam in a positive way that supports both their wellbeing and social development. These sessions help students build friendships and return to class more focused and refreshed.
After-School Clubs
My after-school clubs give children a fun, safe, and engaging way to end their school day on a positive note. They also provide valuable support for parents with that extra bit of childcare, while helping schools offer more without added pressure. These sessions are less formal than lessons, giving children space to relax, enjoy themselves, and stay active in a productive way.

Boxing Sessions (Non-Contact)

Boxing has been a life-changing passion for me—not just for the sport itself, but for the mental and physical benefits it brings. That’s why I run children’s boxing sessions at Northampton Amateur Boxing Club, where I both coach and compete.These sessions are non-contact, making them a safe and positive way for children to be introduced to the sport without the pressure of competition. The focus is on building confidence, discipline, and self-belief while having fun, learning new skills, and letting off some steam.Some children may choose to take boxing more seriously as they grow, but no matter what their goal is, my aim is to help them feel empowered and motivated to improve themselves.Anyone can come to these sessions if they fit into the age range, all details are on my booking page linked below!

Staff Fitness Wellbeing

At school, the focus is always on pupils—but staff wellbeing is just as important. Teachers and support staff work incredibly hard, and looking after their own physical and mental health is vital.With my background in personal training, I deliver fun, accessible fitness sessions designed specifically for school staff. These workouts are a great way to unwind after a busy day, reduce stress, and boost energy levels. I often use a boxercise-style approach, but sessions can be tailored to suit the needs and preferences of your team.The goal is simple: to give staff the chance to move, recharge, and leave feeling stronger and more positive.

Parent+Child Private Personal Training

Your health is just as important as your child’s—and what better way to work on it than together? My private parent-and-child sessions are designed to give you both the chance to stay active, bond, and build confidence in a fun, supportive environment.These sessions are fully tailored to you and your child, so there’s no pressure of being in a big group or keeping up with others. Instead, you’ll have the space to encourage your child, share their progress, and enjoy your own fitness benefits at the same time.It’s focused, personal, and all about making exercise a positive experience you can enjoy as a team.
